I have a vision of uniting like-minded pharmacists in Georgia with functional medicine mindsets. I feel that if we bring our thoughts together and work toward some common goals that we can make a huge pivot in our profession possible. Functional medicine is about treating the whole person, mind, body, emotions, spirit, as well as discovering and addressing the root causes of disease.
As pharmacists, we are uniquely positioned to provide knowledge and insights about traditional therapies as well as provide integrative tools for foundational support of body systems. We can help to marry the science of pharmacy with the art of being well.
So, let’s come together and share ideas, concepts… what’s worked for you, what hasn’t worked… what visions and goals do you see for our profession… bounce ideas off each other… all the things.
